The Yamaha Lord Player LP‑500 is a mid‑tier Les Paul–style guitar from Yamaha’s early “Lord Player” line in the mid‑1980s (typically circa 1984–1986) and was made for the Japanese domestic market.

 

  • Body: Mahogany body with maple top

  • Neck: Set mahogany neck with 22‑fret rosewood fingerboard

  • Pickups: Yamaha Alnico V humbuckers

  • Finish: Cherry Sunburst or similar vintage bursts

  • Craftsmanship: Made in Japan — regarded as solid vintage instruments with good tone and feel.

  • These guitars are RARE, and not many are found in Europe let alone in the Netherlands.
  • This one also has the open book headstock as desired by collectors.
